I did check with the clinic in Papua New Guinea about the possibility of you working there for 9 months. It might be possible, but it may not be the "emergency" type work that you are looking for. They do have emergencies but they are often and all-hands event where most of the staff get involved. Fortunately they are not frequent. If you would still like to explore that option let me know.
