Moody Bible Institute has an Ethno program. It is quite new and small, but good as far as I know. I am leaving soon for my Discovery trip, but if you'd like I can try and connect you with a couple of grads from the program. ~emily

Emily, I want to give you my phone number, before I forget to do it. It is (407) 963-8095. What is your address, so I can find you?

The 24th is good for me, but I have to be home by 7:30. That should work with the stuff we want to do, I think!

hey Emily,
Can you ask your travel date question on our group site so that everyone can be infomed and on the same page? Thanks!

Emily,
I just saw your post! Sorry it took me a few days. Actually, it is just fine to cancel on the 17th. A couple days ago, one of our university pastors suddenly passed away. Today we found out that they will have a memorial service on Saturday that I would like to be at. I was just coming on here to tell you, so it's a relief that you're not too disappointed.

About the 24th, I need to find out if I'm absolutely needed for an event happening that day. I'll let you know when I receive an answer! I really hope we can get together, but if we can't, then I think we'll have this summer to catch up :)

That is a GREAT idea! I have a car, so I can provide transportation to the suburbs. After Easter would be better for me, too. I looked at my calendar, and the best date for me is April 17th. April 10th is also a possibility. What do you think?

Valpo is pretty boring compared to Chicago, haha. I could pop up to the city for a bit. Have any free Saturdays?

Hi Emily,
I am not on the Ghana, team but I wish I was. Actually John Ramsey wishes I could go too, that is why he let me be an honorary member. Ah well. No, I'm the director of Next Generation ministries. WycliffeNextGen is part of my world, although I do not run it. I look forward to meeting the Ghana team and getting to know you all better as you prepare for this summer.

My students are from a variety of countries. The majority are Spanish speakers. They come from Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras and Puerto Rico. I also have 5 Somali students, 1 Ukrainian, 1 Polish, 1 Laotian, 1 Vietnamese, 1 West African and 2 Burmese students.
How far along in your studies are you? What area of applied linguistics do you want to go into?

Glad to have you!
