Hello everyone!

My name is Millie.  I'm a student at Bethel College (in Indiana) majoring in Sign Language Interpreting and minoring in TESOL.  While I have already taken several college classes at various institutions, this is only my second semester at Bethel and I can't wait to learn more!

I'm working toward the bi-lingual, bi-cultural reconciliation of the Deaf and Hearing communities in the U.S.A.  My hope and prayer is that, by providing effective English literacy instruction to both deaf and hearing individuals in some sort of streamlined and cooperative setting, these two cultures can come to understand and appreciate each other and that there can be a beautiful mending of human relationships - and perhaps also of relationships with our Maker.     

Obviously this idea needs lots of polishing and work!  But not to worry - the LORD had brought so many amazing people into my life who share these interests.  He gave the vision and He will see it become a reality in His time.
