A Dance of Celebration

“Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good; celebrate his lovely name with music” (Psalm 135:3, NLT).

Praise the Lord for the November 2011 launching of Luke’s Gospel in the Are language of Papua New Guinea. People danced and celebrated as they received the Gospel. More than 35 copies were sold on the day of launching and people continue to buy more copies. The Are language community has a population of 1,230.

• Ask the Lord to bless the people as they read this first Scripture portion in their language.
• Pray that the Holy Spirit will open their hearts and minds to respond to the Word in obedience.
