Caring for the Soul

Care ConneXion 2012 is a conference that aims to encourage churches in their efforts to care for missionaries. The conference, held March 15-16 in Oregon, will focus on equipping and networking leaders, giving them the opportunity to share strategies and resources to provide missionaries with relevant and effective care. Participants will meet with various leaders from churches, missions organizations, schools, and Christian counseling centers. Wycliffe is one of the sponsors for Care ConneXion 2012, and Wycliffe Board member Dr. Laura Mae Gardner will be one of two keynote speakers.

• Pray for the speakers as they prepare to share insight on how to care for missionaries and how to help nurture their spiritual vitality.
• Pray that people will leave this conference feeling better equipped to meet the needs of overseas workers.
