“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path” (Psalm 119:105, NLT).

Nearly 850,000 Khasi speakers in South Asia will soon receive the Old Testament in their language. All 39 books of the Old Testament have been drafted. Today, members of the Khasi translation team are making plans for checking, revising, printing, and distributing the books. They also hope to produce audio-visual Scripture tools in the Khasi language.

  • Pray for unity among team members working on the Khasi Old Testament project. Pray that God’s will is prized above all.
  • Ask God to bless the Khasi translation team with His guidance and insight, especially during the completion of these final phases of the project.
  • Pray that local church leaders will long to share the entire Word of God with their people, in the language they understand best.
