involving students in Bible Translation, short term missions and internships

“I listen carefully to what God the Lord is saying, for He speaks peace to His faithful people…” (Psalm 85:8, NLT).
OneStory* facilitators are starting projects all over the world, on nearly every continent. Together with storytellers and consultants, they work to accurately present Bible stories in mother-tongue languages where oral communication is preferred.
  • Pray for story facilitators to find all the volunteers needed to assist with each story. The OneStory process typically requires interaction with at least four or five individuals per story for crafting, testing, and revising.
  • Pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance as these workers ensure that each phrase of each story is anchored in Scripture, flows naturally, and is orally reproducible.
  • Ask God to use these stories to change the lives of many people, bringing a new and fresh hope in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
This post is part of a series: Focus on OneStory, Day 3 of 5
*OneStory is a unified initiative to rapidly engage unreached and Bibleless people groups through oral storying.
